To develop a thorough understanding and effective response to crime, anti-social behaviour and community safety fears, partnerships need to share knowledge on all facets of victimisation, offending, & perceptions of crime and safety.

Understanding of post-victimisation aftercare is also vital.

At MLR>> we provide a highly skilled and multidisciplinary research team to support partnerships tackle victimisation and re-offending. Our experience includes:

  • Developing innovative crime/anti-social behaviour systems and protocols (e.g. Faithwatch initiative, on victimisation of places of worship on Merseyside).
  • Victim service user and service provider engagement.
  • Collaborative partnership development events.
  • Evaluation of community safety / criminal justice system (CJS) programmes.
