APPRECIATIVE INQUIRY OF COMMUNITY NURSING FOR CHILDREN & YOUNG PEOPLE

>> MLR and VoiceBox Inc delivered engagement activities in summer 2015 to build an appreciative inquiry (AI) of community nursing provision for young people in Cheshire. Click here for the AI webpage.

>> An A.I. approach focuses on what works well and how to make this happen more often. The project was funded by three Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) in Cheshire.

 

 

FIRST WORLD WAR (FWW) COMMEMORATIVE PROJECT MAPPING - FOR HERITAGE LOTTERY FUND (HLF) ACROSS YORKSHIRE & HUMBER REGION

>> MLR is working with the HLF Yorkshire and Humber team to map and analyse project data on HLF funded commemorative work related to the First World War.

>> We have created a bespoke webpage to highlight this work - incorporating an interactive map and analysis of awards from 2011 to 2014. Click here for the FWW webpage.

 

 

HATE CRIME SERVICE OUTCOMES - CHESHIRE PCC FUNDED SUPPORT TO SERVICE PROVIDERS

>> An outcome monitoring exercise with Cheshire hate crime service providers was successfully piloted in winter 2014. This latest joint working project developed appropriate outcome monitoring to help fully assess the impact of local support for hate crime victims by: Victim SupportDIAL West Cheshire / DIB; Canal Boat Adventure Project; LGBT Foundation

 

 

VICTIM SERVICES INNOVATION SCOPING 2015/16 - MERSEYSIDE PCC SUPPORT SERVICES

>> Four scoping reports were commissioned by the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) for Merseyside on victim-centric issues this year, including the potential application of ‘nudge’ behavioural techniques.

>> Further work is being scoped for 2016/17.

 

 

EVALUATION OF TOM HARRISON HOUSE (THH) - MILITARY VETERANS WITH ADDICTION & ALCOHOLISM

>> MLR and VoiceBox Inc were commissioned to undertake a formative process and outcome evaluation over nine months, with findings presented October 2015. This has lead to ongoing monitoring work for MLR.

>> We’ve developed a THH Evaluation resource webpage - hosting reports and research materials. Access it here.

 

 

TOMORROW'S WOMEN WIRRAL (TWW) RESEARCH SUPPORT

>> One of our local charities for the last two years, TWW launched a female-only health and wellbeing facility in spring 2014. Working collaboratively with staff and service users, MLR helped to assess how effective this has been.

>> Activities included a series of participatory workshops with staff, volunteers and service users.
