Discover… the range of projects that Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) have supported across Yorkshire and the Humber region (and the areas that have still not benefitted from natural heritage funding) using our interactive maps.

Understand… how and when grants have been distributed, and the areas across our region that have benefitted most from grant supported projects.

Be inspired… by the projects HLF have funded. Yorkshire’s Back Garden is a large-scale awareness raising campaign designed to look at the extraordinary natural heritage on offer in Yorkshire, and encourage people to apply for funding to explore their local natural heritage. Access the HLF webpage on Yorkshire's Back Garden natural heritage campaign here

Get involved.... HLF want to get people talking across the natural heritage sector and encourage grant applications from smaller community groups on a wide range of natural heritage topics, such as citizen science, geodiversity, recording and managing species, and river projects, as well as traditional habitat and species projects.
